Welcome to NLPS IGNITE 2024 happening October 28th at J.A. Williams High School in Lac La Biche.
This is an opportunity for all staff to come together, learn from some amazing speakers, participate in interactive sessions, and collaborate with colleagues!
Quickly creating trust and building community is vital not only in Drama class, but in many group settings. Low-risk games allow participants to avoid embarrassment and feel confident contributing. Attendees of this session will leave with a package of 50 high-engagement games that can be played in classrooms or staffrooms with little to no prep, and we will briefly model the more complicated ones. As a Drama teacher for over a decade, starting our course with these games is my secret weapon for turning introverts into thespians.
